Along with the teachers, students and caterers, the ball started at 5:00 pm were students and teachers walk to present their outfit and to start the program. Many students were elegant wearing their dress and suits with different styles and made of. But almost of the students wear suits while others are wear long sleeve shirt. The program flows very well, the most memorable moment in that's Amoré was when we able made our adviser sir John Marco Suazo to dance budots in disco part of the program that was so amazing because it was our first time seeing our teacher dance in front of us and do such thing like that.  I can say I like the ball and I also enjoy it.

IMMERSION

Where is your Immersion Venue?

My Immersion Venue was in DPWH, Quality Assurance Section at Nabunturan, Compostela Valley Province.

What do you feel on your first day?

On the first day of my Immersion I was so nervous at the beginning because I thought that it would be difficult for me to handle the tasks or work given. But then as I began to do the work, I was so happy because they gladly accept me/us to be Immerse in their establishment. I thought they were serious and strict but then I observed that they were so cheerful and always making fun of things. And I learned so many new things.  I was so happy that I was immersed in DPWH.

A NEW JOURNEY BEGINS

People have different goals and dreams in life but we all go to school and study to gain knowledge and to achieve our dreams. And there’s these changes in education were a new curriculum is given, the K-12 curriculum which stated that junior high school must undergo an addition of 2 years education so that more knowledge and experience are gain by students and become more prepared to continue on college or work. As this change come also new ceremony are made and must be undergone by students to prepare and practice their skills.

The Pre-Immersion Orientation and Send-off Ceremony are the two new ceremonies we undergo. Pre-Immersion was to give students knowledge and advice's on what to do or be done in the immersion and given information’s on different things we should know before and after the immersion. While the send-off Ceremony happens to give us blessings, guidance and that our parents agreed on our immersion. This happened on January 5, 2018 (Pictures above) where students along with their parents and teachers have attended these ceremonies. My parents weren’t able to attend for their busyness I don’t feel well that time but cheer up and be ok it’s just the first time they did not attend so it is ok for me but it might be more fun if they attend.

SIMBALLAY FESTIVAL

Simballay Festival was one of the annual festival in the Municipality of Nabunturan in Compostela Valley Province. The name Simballay came from a mansaka word meaning “togetherness, sharing and giving for a bounty harvest”. The 23rd simballay festival flows very well there were many activites and competition happens. It gives a lot of happiness to evry one specially the comvaleneos. There many people who witness the activities and competition for almost 5 days of celebration. There was a competition were barangay’s need to build their booth to represent their barangay along with goods, fruits,  native delicacies and many more to present and be witness the beauty of each barangay’s.
Magsaysay Booth
I found this was the most beautiful and awesome booth I’ve ever seen just look at its style so nice and very creative booth they use mats to build this maleficent booth and it went so good the color and its style was unique.

It became more beautiful when the lights was on the lights fit on the style of the booth which makes it become more elegant and unique to other booth and I think this booth  is the most beautiful booth in the competition in 23rd Simballay Festival at the Nabunturan, Compostela Valley.

PARENTS' DAY

Parents' Day, first we need to know what is Parents Day.
Parents' Day is observed in South Korea (May 8) and in the United States (fourth Sunday of July). The South Korean designation was established in 1973, replacing the Mother's Day previously marked on May 8, and includes public and private celebrations. The United States day was created in 1994 under President Bill Clinton. June 1 has also been proclaimed as "Global Day of Parents" by the United Nations as a mark of appreciation for the commitment of parents towards their children. In the Philippines, while it is not strictly observed or celebrated, first Monday of December each year is proclaimed as Parents' Day.

December 1, 2017 the day were teachers, students and parents are gathered inside the NNCHS gymnasium to witness the program prepared by the teachers and school staff to celebrate the parents’ day and give happiness to the parents around the world. The program starts 9:00 am, for 7:30 am to 8:30 am was the registration of the parents for their attendance. Many students were with their parents along the program, the parents were very happy as well as the students with the intermission numbers. Also many students as will as parents were not able to go and witness the programs. Students were given time to thanks and celebrate parents’ day to their parents. The common verse or paragraph the students said to their parents are "thank you for everything and I love you." the thing I said to my parents are only thank you for everything for I am not totally a showy person. That day was great the program flows very well but I was not able to finish it for my laziness strikes. That’s what I witness and observed that day. And that's how we celebrate Parents Day.
